Bishop Sieon C. Roberts Sr. was born and raised in Gary, Indiana. He is the eldest of three children of Evangelist Delpha Roberts and the grandson of the late Rev. Clarence Lobdell. He matriculated in Gary Community School Corporation.  He has been blessed with five children and two grandchildren.

Bishop Roberts confessed his hope in Christ at an early age and began preaching at the age of 18. His passion for preaching is evident, as he delivers the word of God with fervor each week!  Throughout his life, Bishop Roberts has endured and survived storms that he realized God used to serve as character building blocks while developing his ministry.  Each hurdle only strengthened his commitment to the work of God's Kingdom.  Bishop Roberts is a walking testimony of what service to, and faith in, God can do in the life of the believer who perseveres and never quits!

Bishop Roberts is passionate about his fight for the underprivileged and the unsaved. He was part of a historic moment in his home state of Indiana, co-hosting a gospel celebration for Mayor Karen Freeman-Wilson, the first female, African-American mayor elected in the state.

Bishop Roberts has penned four books: Panting After His Presence, Teen Rocks, Where Is My Father? The Missing Pattern, and Discipleship: The Catch with Coaching Christians.  As an organizer and visionary, Bishop Roberts launched Sieon Roberts Ministries (SRM) on January 1, 2014, a faith-based community organization designed to liberate the lives of individuals suffering from socioeconomic oppression.
