Baptism

  1. Do I have to be a member of The Lighthouse Church to be baptized?
    • No. Although we encourage you to explore the many benefits of membership, TLHC embraces everyone who is ready to commit their life to Jesus to register.
  2. When & where is the Baptism held?
    • TLHC offers baptism at the North campus on the 5th Saturday of a month. Baptism begins at 10:00am, with an opening ceremony starting at 9:30am.
    • The dates for 2024 baptisms are: March 30th, June 29th, August 31st, and November 30th.
  3. Where can I find baptism information online?
    • Please visit our baptism page HERE to learn about the biblical significance of this ordinance.
    • Once you are ready to register, click the “Learn More” button on the page or register for an upcoming service HERE.
  4. How will I know that I am confirmed for my baptism date?
    • After submitting the registration form, you will receive a confirmation email.
    • If you do not receive this confirmation, please check your spam folder, resubmit another form or email baptism@lhhouston.church.

Christening (Baby Dedication)

  1. When & where are the Baby Dedications held?
    • TLHC offers baby dedications at the North campus on the 5th Sunday of a month during regular service.
    • Baby Dedications are held on the 4th Sunday of every month at the South, Southeast, and West campuses during regular service. You may register for baby dedication at any campus.
  2. How do I register my child for a baby dedication?
    • For North on 5th Sundays, click HERE.
    • For West, South, & Southeast locations on 4th Sundays, click HERE.
  3. Is there a dress code for the child at the ceremony?
    • TLHC does not have required attire for babies during the dedication.
  4. What time should we arrive?
    • To ensure that all preparations are complete by the start of the service, participating families should arrive by 9:00am on the day of the dedication.
    • Upon arrival, please check in at the Guest Services table at the church's front entrance.
  5. Can other family members attend the dedication?
    • Yes, all family members and friends are welcome to witness the baby dedication. Please note reserved seating is based on availability and varies at each location.
  6. How can I reserve seats?
    • After completing registration for a dedication, please email [email protected] to indicate the number of guest seats you would like to reserve (Up to 8 seats per family).
    • At all campuses:
      • Reserved seating is limited to eight (8) seats per family. This includes parents, siblings, all grandparents, and two godparents. Extra guests will be directed to other seating areas in the sanctuary.
      • Reserved seats will only be held until 9:30am, so please encourage guests to arrive early for the best opportunity to sit together.
      • Once the reserved seats are full, all remaining guests will be directed to other seating areas in the sanctuary.
