Pastor Keion (00:01):
Oh, I am talking to somebody here today. Oh, now it’s time to go in. This year the only thing I want you to fight is something worth fighting for and it’s all of us. Paul said, I learned to be a base. I’ve also learned to be abound. I learned to be rich, I learned to be poor. We have this multifaceted experience, but when you have a life sentence with God, you start saying stuff to you. You know what? Yeah, it’s true. No weapon formed against me school to prosper. Somebody say I got a life sentence. Life sentence.
(00:51):
So we are alive, but we don’t have life. Preach it because we have not received the Holy Ghost. Some of y’all sitting in this church right now, you can name two or three people. You just can’t forgive right now, right now, and I’m going to preach this sermon and I can meet you next week and you’re going to say, I’m still struggling. You know why you’re struggling? No Holy Ghost, you got Jesus. You got the blood. You ain’t going to hell, but your life going to be and see when your life is hell, then you want to die.
(01:52):
You ever notice why they say mean? People never die. You ever notice why mean people live forever? It is torment before the eternal lake of fire. The Bible says that when we are baptized and why we try not to go to hell, he says, watch this. He says, when you go to hell, he says, the worm does not die. Anybody ever heard that? Now it’s not talking about a creeping worm. When the Bible says the worm does not die, it actually means that in hell feelings never disappear. The worm does not die. It means that when somebody goes to hell, they feel the pain of death eternally. So imagine somebody being shot and they die and go to hell. They feel the bullet forever.
(02:40):
Oh God, I’m preaching to here today. If somebody dies of a heart attack and goes to hell, they have a heart attack eternally. So the reason why he wants you to accept Jesus Christ, because when I accept Jesus Christ, the worm dies. And now Jesus stops the pain and now I am in him. And when I get to heaven, every day is like Sunday. You see how good you feel right now your bill is still unpaid, but there is something about being in this presence. Oh my God. So listen, there’s somebody here right now. They’re on dialysis, they’re on chemotherapy. There’s somebody here right now going through it, but they feel good in this moment because what the spirit of the Lord is there is liberty.
(03:30):
And when you live in God, okay, scripture says it is in him that we live and move and have our being, which means that if you don’t have the Holy Spirit, you are homeless because it is in him that we live, move and have our being. So without the Holy Spirit, you don’t even have a home. You just in the earth. And that’s why when the economy goes down, your paycheck goes down because you live according to this world system. And the rest of us who live in the spirit are not affected by the economy. I live in the kingdom.
(04:16):
I said somebody touching there. I live in the kingdom. I don’t care what the interest rates are. My God, the earth is the Lord’s, the fullness thereof. And they that dwell therein. I don’t care what the Fed does, I know what my faith will do. You see? So I’m trying to get you to that place where what they do in the White House don’t affect what’s going on in your house. I don’t care who the president is. I’m going to be good. You hear what? I don’t care if it’s a Republican or a Democrat, I’m going to be balling.
(04:54):
You know why? Because I live in the kingdom and the Bible says that my God shall supply all of my needs. Not the President, not congressional leaders, not the Senate. My God, according to his riches in glory, his riches, how rich is God? I can tell you how rich he is. The earth is the Lord’s, the fullness thereof. And they that dwell therein, the cattle on a thousand hills belong to him. All the gold in the earth belong to him. All the silver in the earth belongs to him. Which means whatever you got in your pocket is his.
(05:40):
Are you with me? God says I come that you may have life not material things. I didn’t come so you can have Gucci. I didn’t come so you can get a Birkin. I didn’t come. So you can drive a Benz. I didn’t come. So you can have I came that you may have life. And when you separate life from stuff, then you won’t be sad when you don’t have stuff. Because see, I was happy when I was wearing Stacey Adams. Now y’all don’t know nothing about Stacey Adams because you little young Thundercats don’t know nothing. I was happy when my shoes came from Payless. Now I’m glad they don’t come from there no more, but I was still happy when it was happening. Lemme tell you something, if you have real joy, you got to know in your heart that I don’t want to go back. But if I got to, I ain’t going to be depressed. If I got to give up a two bedrooms, I ain’t going to be depressed if the car don’t cost a certain amount because I got life.
(06:49):
I learned to be content and whatever state I’m in. And that don’t mean United States. It means whatever circumstance I’m in, I learned to be a base and a bound. I learned to be happy with food on the table. I was happy when I was trying to figure out where the next meal was going to come from. I was happy when the bills was paid and I was happy when I was struggling robbing Peter to pay Paul. I was happy single. I was happy married. And here’s another thing. Lemme just put this out here. You better stop looking for somebody to be happy because the person you’re looking for is looking for somebody who already happy.
(07:31):
The happiest people on earth are not the ones who have stuff. The happiest people on Earth are those who know who they are in God. Did you hear what I just said? You not happy? Truly happy because of a material things. You got to know who you are in God, knowing who you are in God takes care of the insecurity if not being happy with yourself. Because anytime I’m not happy with my efforts, all I got to think, but he still chose me. And it takes all of the pressure away because one hack that will keep you from being depressed all the time, it’s just learning to be grateful. Just some sort of gratitude. We always look into the next thing. God bless us. And then we start. Yeah, but on my next one, well what about so down and enjoy. Well, you are though. You might not have a great big Cadillac. I knew I had about four of them in here. Young Thunder cat. What are you
Speaker 2 (08:55):
Talking about? What are you talking about? Boy, y’all got, y’all need some music in here. Write this down. There is a common belief called the Dynam View. Dynam view, which suggests that the Holy Spirit is imminent. That means that some people believe that when you accept God that the Holy Spirit comes like utilities with an apartment. You moved in, so you get this for free. No, no. The apartment is, what I’m trying to say is okay, the apartment would be Jesus, but the furniture is the Holy Spirit. You got to bring it. You see what I mean? It’s not imminent, it doesn’t come with it. You don’t just accept Jesus and automatically be filled with the Holy Ghost. You have to receive the Holy Spirit. Are you with me? And then there’s another view called the Hellenistic View. And the Hellenistic view is a hybrid model where God is sometimes power and yet sometimes evasive spirit.
(10:03):
He sometimes lemme see sometimes action and then sometimes spirit. And the Hellenistic view was built through the Intertestamental period, which is about a 400 year in between the old and the New Testament, which are the years of the ministry of Malachi. And these are the years where there was a perspective that he was sometimes power and sometimes passive. And so sometimes he was an invasive spirit. And then sometimes he was just this active thing that will come and take care of everything for you and God, Ashley is saying, I don’t want you to put me in a box because I’m everything that you’re talking about. Okay? Sometimes I will hide myself from the age of 12 and I won’t pop back out until I’m 30. And then sometimes I will meet Jacob at Penny L and we will have a fight face to face, and I will throw his hip out of socket. Sometimes I hide myself. Sometimes I reveal myself. And you got to stop believing it’s not God because he doesn’t come in the form you’re used to.
