So if I am saved by the blood of Jesus, it means that I was saved at the circumcision, not at Calvary and now the Abrahamic covenant has been extended to those of us who are not Jews. So now I don’t have to go through what they went through because Jesus is the once and for all sacrifice and everything that he did, he did it finally, even when he died on the cross, he said it was finished because everything that Jesus does, he does it completely.

He says, you got five husbands and the one you’re with is not your husband and she starts talking about where Jews worship and where Samaritans worship and how Jews shouldn’t be talking to Samaritans. She refused to be distracted by what Jesus was saying and Jesus refused to be distracted by what she was saying. He said all of that might be true, but the hour is coming and now is the time where true worshipers will worship him in spirit and in truth. For here it is, the Father seeks such to worship him.

How does he seek us to worship him in spirit, not in flesh, not in church only, but in spirit. I brought this up last week. If we worship in the spirit, then the only place that we should be confronted by his invasive power, it is not just in the sanctuary. I don’t know about you. I can feel ’em in my soul. I have literally had tears leap out of my eyes in the grocery store. Oh my God, no, no, no, no. You don’t understand. I can get an unction of the Holy Spirit and feel his presence all over me in an empty room. I have been in the shower and sung myself into a fit because I’m doing it in the spirit. And when you do it in the spirit, you can do it in poverty. When you do it in the spirit, you can do it in between jobs.

When you do it in the spirit, you can do it alone because when you worship in the spirit, then what is happening on the outside doesn’t matter. You got to be a marriage partner in the spirit. You’ve got to be a parent in the spirit. It’s amazing how many things we do in life. We always have to step out of the spirit to do it.

No, no, no, no, no. I ain’t got to step out of the spirit to confront my enemies. I don’t even have to give my enemies my flesh. I can stay in the spirit. I can still watch, fight and pray. You don’t have to step out of the spirit to defend yourself. It is in him that we live, move and have I been. My challenge to you is let nothing take you out of the spirit. Worship him in the spirit, pray in the spirit fast in the spirit, love in the spirit, forgive in the spirit and yes, fight in the spirit.

Help me Holy Ghost rejoice in the spirit. The Father seeks such to worship him. It means when he says that, he’s saying, listen, I want you to give me glory no matter what. That is such a profound statement. I want you to give me glory in whatever state you’re in. I want you to have no confidence in the flesh. That’s why I had you to cut away the flesh because I wanted you to know that the more you have, the less you needed. And the reason why I didn’t let it fall off at birth is is because I wanted you to feel the pain of having to have it cut away so that it could cause a flow of blood. And where there is no shedding of the blood, there can be no remission of sin. Romans seven 18 says, for I know, help me Holy Ghost, and I’m trying to tell you how to get in that spirit because if you don’t have the spirit, you’re going to have to say what Paul said in Romans seven and 18. He said, listen, lemme tell you why I do this thing in the spirit, because I know that in me that is in my flesh, dwells no good thing for to will is present with me, but how to perform what is good I do not find, let me read it in the message Bible for if I know the law but still can’t keep it and if the power of sin within me keeps sabotaging my best intentions, listen. He says, I obviously need help.

Could you imagine how forgiving we would be with our spouses if we operated in the spirit, but that flesh will make you keep record of Rome, that flesh. Oh man, it’ll make you record evil. The flesh will have you not forgiving things. You said you want to be forgiven for the flesh. The flesh, it’s got to be cut away. Everybody’s just typing in the chat. You need to cut it, you need to cut it. You need to cut away that flesh. You got to get the scales from in front of your eyes. You have to circumcise yourself by denying yourself, taking up the cross and following Jesus, Philippians three and 10 that I may know him and the power of his resurrection. Now, if Pastor Torrance was on the stage with me right now, this is where he and I will start talking about the doctrine of justification.

Sanctified church ain’t because they can tap the tambourine that don’t make me sanctify. What makes me sanctified is that blood makes me holy. That spirit of God makes me holy even though I am not. After the resurrection of Jesus received the Holy Ghost for the purposes of sending the Holy Ghost to us, which made him the God, listen, oh man, I got to stop. This is going to get too good for me. I’m still talking about the Holy Spirit, the reason why he receives the Holy Ghost and dies and gives him to us because by distributing the Holy Ghost, listen to me, it made him the God of the living and the dead. It made him the God of the living and the dead because now being sanctified, which means I am now made holy, it means that I could have died before the death of Jesus Christ, but because he is the lamb slain before the foundation of the world, what you witnessed by reading in scripture happened in Eternity’s past. So Jesus Christ didn’t die 2000 years ago eternally. He died 2000 years ago in preference so that we might understand in time that there was an Old Testament and New Testament and we realize it in time, but remember, God is eternal. So the movie we are watching, God has already seen, he’s produced it, he starred in it and he’s now on the sequel already planning for his return. What we’re learning in time, God duplicated in eternity and so now therefore is no condemnation to who are in Christ.

The word I count, not myself means to calculate. He says, when you add it all up, I still got issues. When you add it all up, I am still in a continual growth process, but what I am good at, here it is. I’m good at not turning back. I’m good at forgetting that what is behind me. That’s why I’m trying to get you into the Spirit. Do you all hear what I’m telling you? You won’t enjoy the prize of the upper call without the spirit. Sure, sure. You can make a great argument about anything you choose to believe. Sure, the agnostic can make things make sense. Sure, the atheist can make things make sense, but we’re not here to talk about what makes sense. We’re here to talk about the spirit and his ways are not our ways. His thoughts are not our thoughts. The Bible says, well, the spirit of the Lord is there is liberty. I want you to do me a favor right now. I want you to just open up your mouth. If you are in a position to and repeat after me. I receive the Holy Ghost.

I receive the Holy Ghost. Now, you’re probably asking now where is he? What does that mean? Where is he coming from? No, no, no, no, no, no. The spirit of God to Jerusalem. He’s there. If you go to the second heaven, the first heaven, if you go to the terrestrial locations, if you go where the airplanes fly, if you go where the stars are, if you go to the lowest valley, he’s there. There is no place that the spirit of God is not. I want you to repeat after me again. I receive the Spirit. Say it again. I receive the Spirit. Say it like you mean it. I want to almost hear you through the chat. I’m looking at you online right now. I want you to tell me I receive the Spirit, I receive it. I receive it Lord and help my son receive it. Lord, help my daughter receive it. We receive the Spirit. We receive the spirit. Say it again. We receive the Spirit.

Lemme read something to you and I’m going to let you go. If you want to receive the gifts of the spirit, oh God, you’re going to have to want them for the right reason. I don’t want anybody wanting to receive the Holy Spirit so they can be a mind reader and a fortune teller and argue and make people feel small because all of a sudden you have this revelation, you got to want to receive it for the right reason. Your purpose for receiving the gifts of the Spirit should be so that you could use the gifts of the Spirit for the Lord’s purpose.

The path to receiving the Holy Spirit is to exercise faith in Christ. Listen, oh God, this is going to get me in trouble because everybody’s been asking me this and we’re actually receiving the gifts of the spirit of God. Listen to exercise, faith in Jesus. Here it is unto repentance. See, that spirit qualifies you for the atonement work of Jesus Christ. We got more work to do. See the spirit of faith, it opens doors that no man can close. You remember when Jesus went into the wilderness and he was tempted by the devil? Well, how did he survive that temptation to the spirit?

Are you listening to me? And when you receive the spirit of God, it enables you to receive from God what you need. Listen, I feel the Holy Ghost to fulfill your divine destiny. I am telling you right now that without the Holy Spirit, you will never reach your destiny. I don’t care what school you go to. I don’t care what Ted talk, you watch, I don’t care how much you study without the spirit of God, you will never find your destiny. I want you to speak right now in the Spirit and say, spirit, fall fresh on me.

God, I thank you today that I’ve been able to leave my brothers and sisters some through the valley of the shadow of death. And I want you to touch them in a mighty, magnificent strategic way that they would know the difference between emotionalism and spirituality. That somebody will catch fire in their house and before they know it, they’ll see their sons and daughters operating in the spirit of God. God let ’em know that you can do what punishment can’t do. You can do what the silent treatment cannot accomplish. You can accomplish what an argument can’t do. You can do in a home. What no other power Holy Ghost power can do. You can heal a body when a medicine can’t do the job, you can heal a soul. When a psychiatrist can’t reach deep enough, you can heal a mind when a therapist cannot reach deep enough, you are able.

And how do I know you’re able? Because I can testify that I felt you in my own soul. And so God, right now in the name of Jesus, I pray for every person under the sound of my voice, whatever way they are listening to me, that you would allow the spirit of God to fall afresh on them. Spirit of the living God, half your way in our lives and in our heart, we receive you. We’re open. You do the rest of the work. Thou ought the potter, we are the clay. Mold us and make us and shape us. Have us to be what you’re calling us to be. In the mighty name of Jesus we pray. Amen. And thank God, listen. We’re going to give right now, and I want you to give listen in the spirit. I want you to give with the spirit of expectation that today I speak the back of poverty being broken over your life.
